The Members of CAAC are firm believers in promoting safety and excellence in aviation education. For this reason, CAAC is proud to contribute to the DCAM FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR SAFETY AWARD by giving the recipient of the DCAM Award a high quality flight bag and a check for the amount of $250.

From Air Transport Association of Canada:

ATAC provides a venue at their AGM and Tradeshow for the founders, Jane and Rikki Abramson, to present the David Charles Abramson Memorial Flight Instructor Safety Award.  The instructor receiving the award is acknowledged in front of the industry and given national exposure.

From Air Canada – Air Canada sponsors the DCAM Flight Instructor Safety Award, by providing transportation for the recipient, who will be presented with the award by Jane & Rikki Abramson at ATAC’S AGM & Convention from 7th to 9th November, 2010 at the Westin Bayshore Hotel, Vancouver.

"FlightSafety International will invite the award recipient to experience and participate in training activities provided at the company's Learning Centers in either Montreal or Toronto.  FlightSafety's Montreal Learning Center provides training programs on the Bombardier Challenger aircraft. Training programs devoted to Bombardier's deHavilland Dash 8 and Twin Otter aircraft are offered at FlightSafety's Learning Center in Toronto."

In recognition of the caliber of instructor nominated for the DCAM Flight Instructor Safety Award and experience they have to share, one seat in the (Transport Canada authorized) Seneca College Instructor Refresher Course will be awarded to a deserving nominee.

This is a three day course which includes informative presentations on current instructor trends, workshops, group discussions and simulator sessions in the Cessna 172, Beechcraft Bonanza, Baron and CRJ simulators at Seneca College. Value $450.
