ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

OPEN TO ALL FIXED WING AND ROTARY WING FLIGHT INSTRUCTORS

  1. Minimum Class III instructor's license
  2. A letter of nomination from the Flight Instructor's Organization, stating why this candidate is considered worthy of this award.
  3. A current curriculum vitae.
  4. A one-page page letter from the candidate describing his/her approach to teaching.
  5. A summary of special efforts undertaken to enhance academic quality in the courses taught.
  6. Narrative comments concerning the candidate's teaching based on personal observations from one or more of the candidate's peers.
  7. Narrative comments based on personal observations from one or more of the candidate's past or present students.
